Floatingrock.com competed successfully for the opportunity to provide its marketing services to the Forest Industry Safety Association (FISA). Working closely with FISA personnel, we delivered not only a comprehensive Marketing Plan, but were invited to provide follow-up services in the creation of key marketing collateral.

Formerly the BC Logging Health and Safety Agency, FISA was faced with the dual challenges of re-branding, and under an expanded mandate actively marketing its safety programs to a broad forest industry clientele.

FISA’s mission is "Helping build a professional, safe, healthy forest industry". Partners include forest licensees, logging and silviculture associations, and the WCB. An enormous challenge was determining the best overall marketing approach to reach such a diverse audience, given inconsistent communications opportunities, and the realities of working within budgets. Our assessment of audience and opportunities resulted in a flexible and stepwise approach to build recognition, awareness, and an appropriate image.

Before widely promoting FISA programs, we revamped their logo and redefined other elements of their brand, delivered as branding system application standards. The new look greatly improved professionalism and appeal, an excellent starting point for development of their other collateral.
