The Serenity evolution

Calgary, Alberta - In 2003, Floatingrock partnered with AgileIT, a proven information technology consulting and product development firm with a business applications focus. With them we undertook a significant development project, amalgamating their comprehensive business application framework and extensive library of software systems, with our application development platform, web portal and user interface technology named Serenity.
Result: The Serenity Business Solution Framework - an application portal and underlying framework that features close integration between pre-built components.
The Serenity framework makes it easy to create and customize business application modules, and even facilitates the integration of modules developed by third-party vendors.
Flexibility for change is at the heart of Serenity's modular design, allowing organizations to implement solutions quickly and cost-effectively, without limiting the long-term growth and evolution of those solutions.
A wide range of application modules are available for integration into the Serenity framework, including customer relations, human resources, web site content, job costing and meeting management, plus online surveys, e-commerce and many other capabilities.
The technology behind the Serenity system was originally developed as an application framework that would allow administrators to modify their applications on the fly, without requiring programming or system upgrades. Over the past 6 years it has been continually refined and improved.
Today, the Serenity portal system has the same core features, with increased flexibility and ease-of-use. Its powerful capabilities allow a wide range of users to dynamically configure and extend their database applications, further expanding the ever-growing library of powerful and practical Serenity modules.
